Olá Pessoal, nesta dica eu vou mostrar como eu resolvi um problema no SCOM – System Center Operation Manager. Alguns servidores na empresa que trabalho estavam apresentando alertas como esse: (este alerta foi gerado pelo SCOM).
Alert: Health Service Heartbeat Failure

Alert description: The System Center Management Health Service on computer XPTO-02.xpto failed to heartbeat
O SCOM está informando que está com dificuldades de acessar o agente no servidor, verifique no log de eventos do servidor na parte de Applications and Services Logs – Operations Manager, o seguinte log:
“HealthService (8464) Health Service Store: The version store for this instance (0) has reached its maximum size of 60Mb. It is likely that a long-running transaction is preventing cleanup of the version store and causing it to build up in size. Updates will be rejected until the long-running transaction has been completely committed or rolled back”
Se, sim. Rode os comandos abaixo, na linha de comando como administrador.
Net stop HealthService
cd C:\Program Files\Microsoft Monitoring Agent\Agent\Health Service State\Health Service Store
del *.* C:\Program Files\Microsoft Monitoring Agent\Agent\Health Service State\Health Service Store
esentutl /r edb
esentutl /d HealthServiceStore.edb
Net start HealthService
Este comando irá parar o agente do SCOM no servidor, rodar o comando para restaurar a database e depois o comando para desfragmentar e iniciar o servidor. Após isso, a a database estará com tamanho menor e o problema de comunicação irá desaparecer.
